Bring a job over from other software

Already billing a job in other software? Use the Import billing tab once, and your next pay app continues where you left off.

1. Choose a new project, or an existing project that has no pay apps yet.
2. Pick a way to bring it in: - Upload your last pay app (PDF). AI reads every line of the G702/G703. - Use the Excel template. Download it, fill it in, upload it. See The import Excel template. - Type it in.
3. Review: last application number, period, retainage % and retainage held, and each line's scheduled value, work completed to date and stored materials.
4. Click Import and continue billing.

The last pay app from the other software is saved as the job's starting point. If you last billed #5 there, your first pay app here is #6, with the right previous amounts and retainage.

To fix a starting point, delete it from the project's pay applications and import again.
