Terms of Service
Last updated October 13, 2026
These Terms apply to your use of PayAppHub. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PayAppHub is an online service for preparing and sending construction pay applications, schedules of values, change orders, lien waivers and related documents. It is operated by Subcontractor Technologies LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("PayAppHub," "we," "us"). These Terms are an agreement between us and the company or organization that signs up ("Customer," "you"). The person who accepts these Terms confirms they are authorized to do so for that company.
2. Your account
You need an account to use PayAppHub. Keep your password private and make sure the people you invite are authorized to act for your company. You are responsible for what happens under your company's account, including the access level you give each user. Tell us right away at the support address below if you think your account has been misused.
3. Plans, trials and payment
- Subscriptions. PayAppHub is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription. The plan, price, number of billing users and included monthly pay applications are shown on our pricing page and in Plan & billing when you subscribe.
- Free trial. New companies get a free trial (currently 30 days). A card is collected at the start of the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and your card is charged for the plan you chose.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until canceled. You can cancel any time in Plan & billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Taxes. Prices do not include sales or similar taxes. Where we are required to collect tax, it is added to your invoice.
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
- Allowances. Plans include a number of pay applications and an amount of automated contract reading each month. Going over these never blocks your billing; we may suggest a larger plan.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we and Stripe will retry and notify you. If it still isn't paid, your account may become read-only until payment is made.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Your data
Everything you put into PayAppHub (projects, contracts, pay applications, waivers, files and contacts) is your data and stays yours. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display it only as needed to provide, secure and support the service for you. We do not sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it. You can download your documents at any time while you have an account.
5. Automated contract reading
PayAppHub can read contracts and forms you upload and suggest values, using third-party AI services. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing every pay application, lien waiver and document before you sign, send or rely on it. PayAppHub does not provide legal, accounting, tax or lien-law advice, and nothing in the service replaces review by your own qualified advisers.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree not to: use PayAppHub for anything unlawful or fraudulent, including false billing or forged signatures or notarizations; upload content you don't have the right to use; try to break, overload, probe or get around the security of the service; access another company's data; or resell the service without our written permission. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for complying with the contracts and laws that apply to your projects.
7. Trademarks and forms
AIA, G702 and G703 are trademarks of the American Institute of Architects. PayAppHub is not affiliated with or endorsed by the AIA. PayAppHub produces its own pay-application formats; if your contract requires official AIA documents, it is your responsibility to obtain and use them under the AIA's terms.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep PayAppHub available and your data backed up, but the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we make a change that substantially reduces what your plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.
9. Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these Terms or doesn't pay, after notice when reasonably possible. After a subscription ends, your account stays available read-only for at least 30 days so you can download your documents. After that we may delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these Terms, PayAppHub is provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that any owner, general contractor or other party will approve or pay any pay application.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if advised they were possible; and our total liability for all claims relating to PayAppHub is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits don't apply to your payment obligations or to your misuse of the service.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your data, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or documents you send through it, and pay resulting damages and reasonable costs.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we'll notify account owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use PayAppHub after that means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
