Signatures and notarizing
Save your signature once, sign pay apps and lien waivers with it, and how notarizing works.
Save your signature. In Company settings, find the signature row and pick one:
- Upload a picture of your signature (a phone photo on white paper works; the paper is made see-through and trimmed for you).
- Type it and choose one of 12 handwriting fonts, in black or blue ink.
- Draw it with your mouse or finger.
You can replace or Remove it at any time.
Signing a pay app. When you Finalize, choose to sign with your saved signature, or leave the line blank to sign it by hand.
Signing a lien waiver. On the waiver screen, click Add signature. It's placed on the signer's line for you. Drag it to move it, and use the corner or the − / + buttons to size it. Remove it if you'd rather sign by hand.
Notarizing. Notary lines are always left blank. If the GC requires a notarized waiver:
- Print the package.
- Sign the waiver in front of a notary.
- Scan it or send it the way the GC asks, then Mark complete.
The printed name, title and dates are filled in for you either way.
